Ok, I said I would stay on Xanga but I've been told I need to get on blogspot so here I go! I'm still trying to figure everything out too! I'm at work on a friday afternoon after Thanksgiving and really wanting to take a nap. It's nice and rainy outside so I need to get myself awake! Mom and dad were here for about a week and I had so much fun.

I'm currently living in Temple Texas where my sister, brother in law and new baby neice all live. My best friend Kelli and her family are here as well. For the last 10 years, I have been away from family so it feels really good to be near the fam again. Emily and Mike went to Houston to see Mike's family so mom and dad and I had Thanksgiving dinner at my place. Mom and I all cooked all day and were exhausted.....Ok, that was a lie!

We had leftover pizza for thanksgiving and it was so fun! HA! Dad and I spent all day decorating my very first house. I'm still having to remind myself it's my house but I love it! Dad isn't too found of heights but he managed to climb on top of the steep incline and hang my lights as he said, "Scary scary scary" the entire time! Then we put up my first Christmas tree and decorations around the mantel. I love to turn out all the lights and turn on my tree and other christmas lights. I'll post some pictures when I figure it out.

In one day we took 3 trips to Walmart, 1 to HEB, 2 to Biglots and one to the dollar store but my house is ready for the holidays! :)
